Lauren + Ben

The vision: A time of celebration with friends and family! I wanted my big day to be more about people and our marriage than a certain look. Thankfully, I had a ton of support from amazing friends and family and they were ultimately the ones who made the day beautiful and a delight.

The day of: The day of went so smoothly! I would say that nothing went awry, but that would be too good to be true ( two people managed to catch themselves/ their tables on fire with the candles at our reception tables ... thankfully no one was hurt). Every part of the day was such a joy! I had an amazing team that helped me bring my dreams and plans into reality. I will always hold this day in my heart and cherish moment I stood beside the love of my life and committing to love him for the rest of my life.

My advice for future brides?: Carve out time to actually enjoy time your future husband and the people who have gathered to celebrate. Take time to RELAX and be present.
The first thing I did on morning of the wedding was get coffee with Ben, my husband at our favorite coffee shop. It was a sweet time to talk and pray together before all of the busy-ness began.
I would recommend to try to find some space on your wedding to do something you enjoy and find peaceful and grounding.
