Welcome back to the Ivory Bride Blog, where we share stories from our real brides about their real weddings! In today's post, get ready to be inspired by this couple's vision for their wedding, which aimed for simplicity, timelessness, and elegance with green as the accent color. The decision to use all-white flowers complemented the green surroundings of the family farm venue. Our bride found vendors easily, with a special mention of the photographer chosen earlier. The day-of experience was described as amazing, with everything going as planned and no hiccups. The dance floor was a highlight, and the use of generators in a remote location was successful. The wedding took a traditional route, featuring grandmothers as flower girls and a time capsule for the unity service. This bride's top tip for future brides is not to stress over small details, emphasizing that guests are there to celebrate the couple's love, and the day should be enjoyed without letting stress overshadow the fun.

By our real bride, Abby:

What was the vision for your wedding?

My vision for the wedding was simple, timeless, and elegant and it stayed the same pretty much through the process! I did decide to switch my flowers to all white since everything was so green and it was the best decision! I wanted elegant and simple with green as the accent color. I truly just wanted it to be special getting married on my family’s farm and being able to capture the beauty of that all on its own. My vendors came fairly easy as well, my photographer I found a while back and knew she was the one! All of my vendors were truly so so so amazing I honestly have nothing but great things to say. I used your platform for reference as well since you guys are great at tagging people!!!

How did it go the day-of?

The day off was amazing!!! Everything went as planned (lol so I think) but there were no hiccups and everyone had the best time! Our dance floor was crazy which I thought was the most fun part! Everything ran off of generators since we were in the middle of nowhere and I thought it was amazing how well it went! We went the more traditional route and something we did that was special was have our grandmas be our flower girls as well as do a time capsule for our unity service.

What is your #1 tip to future brides?

Do not sweat the small stuff!!! Seriously! At the end of the day, no one cares if you have that one sign that specifies certain things, everyone is there for you and your husband, drinks, and food!! And don’t let the stress take the fun away! At the end of the day it’s one day and celebrating the love is all that matters.
