Planning a wedding can be a dream come true for many couples, but with so many details to consider, it can quickly become overwhelming. One of the most important things to consider is the overall vision for the big day. In this blog post, we'll hear from a couple who wanted to mix Boho vibes with formal black-tie for their wedding. They'll share their experience of how the day went, from the preparations with their loved ones to the actual ceremony, and provide their #1 tip for future brides. So, whether you're planning your own wedding or just love hearing about them, keep reading for some insightful advice and inspiration.

Alex looked AMAZING in our Laney gown by LAmour. This gown is a gorgeous sheath fit covered in the most stunning, bold lace from top to bottom. The deep v-neckline is supported by a high illusion neckline and fades into a stunning low back. A baby train adds even more drama and detail to this gown and we could not love it on Alex more.

By our real bride (and stylist), Alex:

What was the vision for your wedding?

The vision for our wedding was to mix Boho vibes with formal/black-tie. We felt like this was an accurate expression of my and Taylors personalities. We love to have fun and be surfer vibes/chill (lol), but we also love dressing up and looking nice. And so, our wedding vision was born!

How did it go the day-of?

The day of our wedding was full! Full of all the most wonderful people who we love most. It was full of anticipation, full of rest, and also full of fun. Our hope was for fullness throughout the day, as we prepared with our bridal party and close family, as we promised our vows, and as we reflected on the depth and meaning of love.

What is your #1 tip for future brides?

Pro-tip for brides: The day can feel like its going so slowly leading up to the wedding! And then all of a sudden the ceremony starts and it is CRAZY FAST. Like Im telling ya, our coordinator / best friend Kellie came up to us and was like Okay guys, its time to leave. And we were like whattttt!!!. It goes so quickly so focus focus and enjooyyy your time, with family, with buddies, and with each other.
